ABOUT THE GROUP

Invar Research Group is an independent applied metrology laboratory, federally incorporated in 1974. We provide dimensional survey, structural continuity assessment, and interior volume verification to institutional, industrial, and government clients in six provinces.

The group takes its name from the nickel-steel alloy used in precision survey tape, chosen for that purpose because it does not change dimension. Our work rests on the same principle: a measured space should agree with the drawing that describes it. Where it does not, the discrepancy is recorded, the survey is repeated, and the cause is identified. All instruments are calibrated against a fixed reference.
